In just a week we will all be on a short (but much needed) break from school. Many of us will be traveling home to spend time with family and friends, and although I know that “holiday shopping” is usually associated with winter vacation in December, this year I am going to get started a little early.
Thanksgiving break offers us a chance to take advantage of the great sales leading up to and following Black Friday before the stressful holiday shopping month of December even begins. I hear crazy stories each year about shoppers who wait in line all night just to be first to the sales on Black Friday. I would rather check out the deals offered online before attempting to face the insane crowds at stores.
Thanksgiving fashion should be comfortable, cozy and somewhat dressy at the same time. One of my most wanted items right now is a pair of skinny corduroy pants to wear with one of my loose-fit dressy tops and a comfortable, soft cardigan. Shopbop.com typically has really great sale items around Thanksgiving as does Saks and Neiman Marcus.
As you get ready to head off for break think about what you want to wear to your Thanksgiving dinner and look around online at various sales to get inspiration. I am including a few from pinterest to get you started.
